Memories

We used to ride our bikes here and picnic and then one day it was gone. I think they're building houses here now...

Stop Thinking...

Happened upon this art on a light pole during a neighborhood walk. It completely made my day...

The Staredown

Sunroom Funroom

Here are some images from one of our latest projects: the sunroom addition to the back of the house. First we tore down the awning, removed all the pavers and then started framing it out for the big concrete pour...
Once the concrete was poured and dried we framed out the room and windows were added...

Here's a pic of our Project Foreman lying down on the job. She's also known as Kruzer, our 12 pound tortie-tabby; aka "Kruzervisor" as we called her during this project...

Baaaad Company

Meet my newest office mate:

I've named her Suzie in honor of my favorite human co-worker. Human Suzie passed Sheep Suzie on to me when she left this job to embark on a new adventure. Sheep Suzie keeps me company throughout the day in my large lonely office. I've sort of taking a liking to this animal and have gone on the hunt for sheep accessories. Came across these lovely animal print pillows from Pine Cone Hill.

Chairity Case

I finally sold these chairs on Craigslist--it took me three weeks and a dozen email exchanges--and now I miss them. Sellers remorse?

Nothing like buying new stuff to make me feel better about my missing items. I am  currently eying these beauties at Chairish covered in Lime Trees fabric or maybe a simple Swiss Cross. Actually, speaking of Swiss Crosses check out this gorgeous bedding:

Stuck in my head...

This is by far my favorite version of Moon River. What an amazing band; Check them out!

Cat love

A few photos from our weekend trip to the San Antonio Mission in the "Valley of the Oaks."

Love the art found all around the grounds...

But my favorite part was encountering these beautiful cats that helped themselves into the chapel. Turns out the cats, Rosario and Spirit, have an interesting story. Check it out here.

Mission Possible

I took this photo at work yesterday. Just downloaded it and got to thinking about all the beautiful Mission Revival designs out there, from furniture to hardware...
